Prospects for the Future of BookofMormonOnline.Net

By: KC

The future is looking very bright for BookofMormonOnline.Net.  Recent events and circumstances have opened many new doors in terms of scope and involvement of others, and this website will now be going through a transitional phase.  As the additional personnel and resources that will from here on out be involved in development situate themselves, and, as plans for the future are made and agreed upon, blog posts and continued site development on my part will be suspended. Please stay tuned for more updates about the major developments that this site will soon be undergoing.

Hi KC. I just stopped by to check out your famous website… and it’s amazing! I’ll try to follow it’s growth closely from now on. Great job!

Pey

I stumbled across this on Google, and what a find! I’d love to be a part of it.

I am the church bulletin maker in my ward, and I’ve been so impressed by your web site, that I’ve listed it in the Sunday bulletin in my “Useful Internet Links” section. This web site is right there, along with the official Church web sites, Family Search, Read the Scriptures, and LDS Journal. You are in some good company.

Hi - When will you be posting a new entry to this blog? I’ve enjoyed the posts so far.

It will be interesting to see if with these “major changes” they’re going to clamp down on who and what one can post”.

Hmmmm…

The site is well organized and very accessable. I expect it to be a favorite bookmark. However, if I may offer one critic. The map shows obvious inclinations toward the mesoamerican model for B of M geography. Having been a serious student of the book for a lifetime, and an amateur archeologist, I find thousands more evidences for it in the heartland than I do in Central America. My suggestion: Research.

My one piece of advice is that you make sure you that you a draw a line between Church doctrine and your own thoughts. You seem to have done that fairly well but someone who is a non-member could become confused.

Make sure that you treat this website as more of a personal blog and not so much as an official Book of Mormon Fact site. Maybe make things clearer that you (KC) are running the site and posting information. Perhaps changing the name???

I don’t mean to criticize and I think that this is a wonderful resource and can become something great. Especially for mission work. Just be careful

Thanks.
